Chiller removal and replacement In Brisbane.
We were engaged to supply the full package to remove and replace a 7tonne chiller. Precision Rigging and Logistics completed a Chiller changer over at the Caboolture private hospital. The redundant chiller was broken into components for relocation due to the size restrictions. Superior crane hire assisted our onsite crew to remove the redundant components and land the new chiller in preparation for relocation. Check out some of the photos to see the how our crew relocated the new chiller into position with minimal room between operating services.
Two senior Riggers from Precision Rigging and Logistics assisted COPE- sensitive freight to remove and relocate a 4.7 tonne MRI unit from Allamanda private Hospital, Gold Coast.
The 2 man crew where in charge of the winching and horizontal movement down a steep 20m ramp and outside for loading by a 20 tonne franna crane. Precision Rigging and Logistics, alongside Superior crane Hire completed a more than unusual crane lift. This was due to the nature of the set up and time restrictions by closing Grey Street South Brisbane between the hours of 10am-2pm. Precision Rigging supplied the full logistics package inclusive of, full traffic management, transport logistics and the required crane for the removal and installation of a 5.7 ton chiller. Grey street is an incredibly busy street that required much attention to traffic management and exclusion zones for the safety of the public. This is another great example why Precision Rigging and logistics can safely complete any task regardless of the scenario.
Precision Rigging and Logistics completed the remaining plant equipment at Southpoint B-Grey Street.
Equipment relocation and final positioning consisted of 6 AHU's that were a difficult height of 4.7m with combined weight of 4 tonne, custom pump and heat exchange skids with each of them being between 4-7 tonne and uplift of custom ducting frames weighing over 3 tonnes. Precision rigging and logistics commenced an ongoing project at the Jen Hotel Brisbane. First stage was to take a 5.5 tonne Air-conditioning Chiller unit and relocate it into the plant room via a series of service lifts and soft hatches through floors.
Precision Rigging and Logistics supplied a crew of rigging and relocation's specialist to take delivery and final position custom frames. The complete weight of combined frames exceeded 14 tonne with unusual height and length dimensions.
